Aside from picket and split rail fences, Paddock Fences are one of our most requested fencing styles. Check out some of our Paddock Fence Styles.
Paddock Fences
Paddock fence installation is made with anywhere from three to five horizontal flat boards—typically measuring 1″x6″x8′ or 1″x4″x8’—that get attached to posts. When we build a paddock fence, regardless of the type of wood used to create the rails, we always work with pressure treated posts, so your fence posts will last a long time and won’t require constant maintenance.
Paddock fence installation comes in 36”, 48” or 60” tall. It can be 2 board, 3 board or 4 board. It can also be built in custom 5 or 6 board in different heights. Paddock fences can be built from several types of lumber and we are happy to work with you to find the perfect fit!
Many people ask about Estate Fencing. Estate fencing is similar to a paddock fence, except some of the boards that go between the posts are overlapped to form a diagonal crisscross design. Estate fencing typically uses between 4″ and 6″ flat boards, depending upon how many horizontal boards you want to use above or below the crisscross pattern. Estate fencing comes in 4 board, 5 board, or 6 board in different combinations and is normally 48” tall.
